Airports

Connect airside inspections with the work that follows.

Bring airfield assets, terminal systems, ground equipment and IT into a shared operational record. Lucendus connects recurring inspections, defect response, servicing and evidence so airport teams can follow work across departments and shifts.

Your operating context

Different assets. Different priorities. One airport.

Inspection records separate from defects

A finding from a recurring inspection can require several handoffs before repair and sign-off. Separate records make the path harder to follow.

Urgency that depends on the asset

A runway-lighting defect and a lounge printer fault call for different responses. Teams need a consistent way to apply the right ownership and escalation.

Reporting across disconnected teams

Airside, terminal, fleet and IT teams may each hold part of the operational history. Assembling inspection status and response records can become a manual task.

What you can do with Lucendus

Keep criticality and context with every work item.

Organise the asset record, inspection evidence and service response together, while allowing different teams and asset classes to follow their own requirements.

Recurring inspections with evidence

Schedule serviceability inspections and retain findings, photographs and sign-off against airside assets. Keep the inspection history connected to follow-up work and completed repairs.

Response rules by criticality

Set service commitments, escalation and on-call ownership by asset class and criticality. Route defects according to the operational context instead of treating every ticket alike.

Shared assets and critical spares

Bring ground equipment, terminal assets, fleet and IT into a common registry. Connect servicing and stores records so maintenance teams can see the parts and history associated with their work.

A reporting trail across teams

Bring together inspection and compliance status, open defects and response performance. Use the underlying work and evidence records to support management reporting and preparation for regulatory review.

Example workflow

An inspection identifies a lighting defect.

The inspector records the finding and photographs against the affected airside asset.

The defect follows the configured response rules for that asset class, with ownership and escalation visible to the responsible team. The maintenance record can include the work carried out and the spares consumed.

Completion and sign-off remain connected to the original inspection. The airport's team can then review the defect history and response performance using the same records, alongside its established operational procedures.

Connected systems

Connect operational feeds with the asset record.

Scope connections to building-management and SCADA systems, Lansweeper, Microsoft Intune, 365mesh sensors and Xero or Odoo. Use the REST API for other systems. Agree which feeds should create work, how assets are identified and who owns each response.

Getting started

Start with a workflow your team knows.

01

Choose an inspection workflow

Start with a defined asset group and its recurring inspection process. Agree the evidence and response records the team needs.

02

Configure the operational context

Map assets and criticality, set ownership and escalation, and connect inspection findings to work orders and supporting records.

03

Review across a working cycle

Follow inspections through defect handling and completion, then review the records with operations and maintenance before expanding.

Your next step

Follow an inspection all the way to completion.

Bring a sample asset group and inspection workflow. We can explore how Lucendus connects findings, response and maintenance evidence.
